Car break-ins

As many of you know, there have been a rash of car break-ins at the CPS garage on 1st and Columbia.  I just came home at 1 a.m. and found the stairwell exit propped open.  I am asking if the neighborhood could help us keep an eye on the garage, make sure that all doors are closed, and call 911 if you see or hear any suspicious activity.   The police are supposed to start patrolling the garage at night, but any community support would be greatly appreciated!
