    After four years with the same hairstylist here in the Square I decided to change things up and find someone new. I tried a couple of shops on 1st Avenue South and on Yesler Way to no avail. Thank goodness for “A” signs. A signs are the small wooden signs that merchants place on the sidewalk heralding their products or services.

    Walking from the Prudential Building to my local Starbucks store at 1st & Yesler one day I came across the A sign for Skyn at 95 Yesler Way. I decided to climb the three flights of stairs and ask for a consult on my mop of hair.

    I met Angela and told her that I was considering a change of both hairstyle and hairstylist. She was amazing as she ran her fingers through my flowing locks. She made a couple of suggestions and we mapped out a plan for the “new look.”...
